School Services provides professional development opportunities for classroom teachers.  This event is part of the ongoing workshop series, Bay Area Mosaic, a project designed to help educators integrate ethnic studies and diversity content into the classroom curricula.

Community Engagement works closely with community-based organizations to create workshops, organize screenings and facilitate in-depth discussions towards social change. This workshop is in collaboration with Immigration in Focus (http://www.kqed.org/topics/history/immigration), a collection of thought-provoking programs, special reports and events about the complex issues surrounding immigration.
